In this article, I’ll explore the current prices of some of the most sought-after Porsche models in the UK market, focusing on the 992 GT3, 992 GT3 RS, 911 Speedster, 911 Sport Classic, 911 S/T, GT4 RS, and Cayenne Turbo GT. These models not only represent the pinnacle of automotive engineering but also come with a price tag that reflects their prestige/ limited numbers. In recent times, the phenomena of ‘overs’ has really taken off and thus many vehicles fetch large premiums over list price. **1. Porsche 992 GT3** The 992 GT3 is renowned for its track-focused performance and exhilarating driving experience. In the UK, the starting price for a new 992 GT3 is around £146,000. As with all Porsches, spec is incredibly important, along with PTS paint which tends to attract a higher resale value. Noted here the number of these cars produced was fairly significant, and thus prices have dipped - along with the number actively for sale. *Note here differences in the market between standard GT3 and Touring, which seems to be holding much better.* Number for sale : 59 Lowest price : £159,000 Highest price : £235,000 (Manthey kit) Median price : £197,000 **2. Important to note on these is that many cars (due to shortages) were missing various options, including carbon roll cage and ceramic brakes, lookout for these. They do seem to have settled from the very early cars which were fetching £500,000 initially, with many rare cars the initial sale price does tend to drop once more cars hit the market, but be under no illusion these cars are not produced in large numbers. Number for sale : 12 Lowest price : £310,000 Highest price : £360,000 Median price : £330,000 **3. Porsche 911 Speedster** The 911 Speedster, a limited-edition model, combines classic design with modern performance. It commands a premium price due to its exclusivity, starting at approximately £211,599 in the UK before options. Given its collectible status, prices are higher on the secondary market - two ‘styles’ are significant here, those with or without a ‘heritage’ pack, which gives you external and interior styling changes. Number for sale : 9 Lowest price : £275,000 Highest price : £335,000 Median price : £305,000 **4. Porsche 911 Sport Classic** The 911 Sport Classic is a modern interpretation of Porsche's classic design elements, making it a highly desirable model. In the UK, the starting price for this model is around £214,200. The blend of nostalgia and contemporary performance technology makes the 911 Sport Classic a unique and valuable addition to any car collection. This model is effectively a Turbo S with a manual gearbox, which is now rarely found on a modern Porsche. Heritage pack here was a common option, so although would usually dictate a premium, it could be that a PTS car without may be the better investment as a lot less were specified that way. Number for sale : 6 Lowest price : £315,000 Highest price : £400,000 Median price : £357,500 **5. Porsche 911 S/T** The 911 S/T is a homage to the lightweight and agile 911s of the past, focusing on a purist driving experience. This model is list priced at approximately £250,000 in the UK. Its rarity and specific appeal to driving purists contribute to its high price point, and it is expected to appreciate in value over time. This car is hailed as the pinnacle of Porsche vehicles available in the market. A very long term hold here will surely be good news, if you buy right. Number for sale : 2 Lowest price : £495,000 Highest price : £495,000 Median price : £495,000 **6. Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS** The GT4 RS is the ultimate performance version of the 718 Cayman, offering an exhilarating driving experience at a lower price point compared to the 911 series. In the UK, the starting price for the GT4 RS is around £108,370. Its value proposition lies in delivering high performance without reaching the high six-figure realm typical of the 911 range. Again, shortages did impact some of the production of these cars, so some are missing key options. To drive, and use on track, this car is truly phenomenal as it features the engine from a GT3, along with air intakes at the side of the driving position - which gives great sounds from inside the car. Number for sale : 20 Lowest price : £139,500 Highest price : £175,000 Median price : £157,250   **7. Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT** For those who desire pure performance in an SUV form, the Cayenne Turbo GT stands out as one of the best. It blends the practicality of an SUV with Porsche’s legendary performance. The starting price for the Cayenne Turbo GT in the UK is approximately £143,910. Its price can climb with various luxury and performance upgrades, making it one of the most expensive SUVs in the market, although compared to an Urus or G wagon, it’s still very well priced.
